- 1 pound of fresh green beans, prepared
- 2-3 slices of bacon
- Sel de Oignon Infused Sea Salt, Salts of the 7 Seas
- Melange Peppercorn, Salts of the 7 Seas
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice, cider, or red wine vinegar
Heat a pot of water to a rolling boil. Add the green beans and boil for 4-5 minutes. The should be just tender enough to eat. Drain and set aside.
Meanwhile, cook the bacon until crispy in a large saute pan over medium-low heat. Use a fork or slotted utensil to transfer bacon to paper towels. You should have about a tablespoon of fat left in the pan. Pour off any in excess of a tablespoon. If there is less than a tablespoon, add a little olive oil or butter.
Saute the cooked green beans for 1-2 minutes in the bacon fat. Dice bacon and add to the pan along with the Sel de Oignon Infusion salt. Stir and transfer to serving dish. Sprinkle generously with freshly ground Pepper Melange. Toss with lemon directly before serving. Savor the deliciousness!
